Collaboration
Therapy is a collaborative mutually engaged relationship between client and therapist. This means that you are an expert in your life and experiences and I provide an expert perspective based on training and my own life experiences. Together we become the perfect team.
Engagement = Improvement
This means that the more we are both engaged in this process, the sooner you will experience benefit. When we are in our therapy “room”, we are both focused, present and committed to your ability to flourish in spite of life’s inevitable challenges!
Therapy can be FUN!
Yes, therapy is often hard work but that doesn’t mean it has to be tedious or yucky. I encourage humor and creative solution brainstorming!
I can’t fix you because you are not broken!
You might be sad, wounded, scared and scarred, but you are not broken. Together we'll find your strong parts and we'll reinforce them so you can live a life that matters!
