What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness has become a buzz word! But it’s so much more than that. Mindfulness is the experience of being completely aware of what we are doing while we are doing it without judging our experience. We just “are” as we are… So, when I’m making coffee, all I’m doing is making coffee. I KNOW that I’m making coffee.
Here’s a little exercise to give you the feel of mindfulness: Take 3 mindful breaths right now — with each in breath say to yourself - Breathing in I know I’m breathing in and with each out breath say to yourself — Breathing out I know that I’m breathing out. Simple!
